These custom belt buckles were made for some friends of mine last month. We paired these cool belt buckles with a black leather belt that we make here in Indianapolis. Here is the story.
This custom buckle was design to commemorate the events of June 28, 2009 in Honduras. Not so much to highlight the political chaos that ensued, but to celebrate the democratic and republican resurgence of the Honduran citizens. A renewed interest in the Honduran Constitution and all the things for which it stands (and does not). Moreover, to celebrate those who bravely stood up and publicly denounced those who wish to leverage the very same constitution against the people. When I needed to make something special, I looked to Fosterweld to design and build these amazing pieces.
